Yes, they are weekly, it’s starting to get difficult to sit down and just write like I did before. It’s not that I still don’t want to do it, it’s just that I haven’t had the time to actually sit down and write it all. Before, I looked forward to writing sunday morning, only because there had been so much shit happen between thursday and saturday night. Now I find myself caught up in work during the week that I’ve no time to be doing anything (well, I don’t know about things that are happening.) Anyway. I digress. I know I’ve also been slack on the personal side, but I’ve found I’ve almost run out of things to say. Well, like I said before, I haven’t really had the time to be writing anything. So hopefully if I start saying shit, other things will follow. The past week at work has been weird. Slowly starting to not give two shits hey. Nothing really too exciting happened at work, that I can remember though. I’ll just shift through the week. Wednesday was queer, kind of did nothing at all. I think I went off to work and kind of bludged around there. Oh, Rod asked me again whether I could start work early tomorrow (thursday back then) and he was met by my rather emphatic “nope.” I have so much fun saying no to the guy. Of course, I knew he would want a reason why (I’m getting sick of making them up, I should just say no and walk away) and shit song, thursday was day off! Get stuffed! I seriously hate working thursday though.. it’s just annoying.
It all happened thursday though. I expected my new phone to arrive wednesday sometime, and I was kind of bummed out that it didn’t. However, I got up thursday and I been up for only half an hour or so and BEEP! Someone’s outside with my mail! Weee! So I spent the rest of the day fiddling around with my new phone. I think I missed lunch I was that caught up, which I’ve made a habit out of doing lately. Anyway. Eventually it’s around the afternoony-night and because I didn’t have to work, I kind of wanted to go and do something. Considering there wouldn’t be much to do, Daryl, Nick and myself headed out to mindil beach and kind of wandered around there for a couple of hours. Wasn’t really too much to do, I mean, there wasn’t any kind of plan, it was just a case of being outside and doing something, which I was more than happy to be doing. After mindil though, I didn’t really want to head home, which I was expecting from Nick and Daryl. So we ended up heading over to the beachfront got some drinks and sat down for a bit. After a while, Kirsty and Talyea arrived and they joined us. Oh, while we were there though, Jason Waters started to talk to Nick about the Navy and shit like that, and oh god did he not shut up. Being loud and talking about something that no one gave two shits about kind of made me want to move. Well, after Jason left, Nick and Daryl wanted to go home, and by then, Hayley had joined Kirsty and Talyea and they were playing pool in the backroom there. Well, I didn’t want to go home yet, so I ended up dropping those two off and headed back to the beachfront to play some pool.
Played my shittiest games of pool ever that night. Fair enough I’m not good to begin with, but I just sucked harder that night. I got a few good pictures with my new phone (wee!) So expect to see more pictures being uploaded more often now. Around midnight Talyea and Kirsty decided to head off home, and apparently it was raining. Not just a little bit, but it was hammering down pretty hard. So Hayley and I continued to play against some guy from her work and one of his friends when Craig turned up. I ended up not playing, just fiddling with my phone further, trying to make things look pretty (or just get used to it I suppose) and I was just watching them play pool. Meanwhile, this friend of the guy that Hayley knew (I think his name is Mitch, I met him again last night) was chatting to me. I think he got me confused with some other guy, because at first he thought I was from Adelaide, and then he thought I was out at East point the night before. After a bit, the topic turned to drugs (apparently when I’m sitting down looking around, I’m constantly asked if I’m on anything) and he asked whether or not I was pilling or not. Next thing I know, he pulls out this little baggie thingy with probably around 4 pills in there, and says to me: “My shout?”
Eventually, we were kicked out of the beachfront because it was getting late (it was around 2am now) and I still wasn’t ready for sleep. So what happened, was we jumped into my car and went for a quick drive around, and decided that we were hungry. Indeed. Hungry enough to head to the Shell at Nightcliff and Hayley and I walked around there for a good 10 minutes trying to decide what we wanted. Eventualy, we had bread, cheese, bikkies, and some meatball roll that Craig wanted. Walked up to the counter, and apparently the cheese is the only thing scanning. What. Yeah, the thing wasn’t scanning so he said he wasn’t able to sell it to us. Meanwhile, the whole shelf was packed full of the damn shit, so they had to have a prive somewhere. Meanwhile, Hayley is flat-out denying not getting the cheese (I was looking forward to cheese and bread sandwiches too.) The poor attendant has absolutely no fuckin’ idea what the deal was, and he’s standing there all confused and shit. All this time, I’m still standing at the counter, waiting for him to work out what he was going to do. He wandered over to where the cheese was, and instantly I’ve turned into the retail person I am, and I’m looking for a label or something like that (I accicently broke off their plastic stripping in front of him.. whoops!) By now, I’m kind of pissed off that he hasn’t just manually inputted some random price to get us the fuck out of there, and I’m getting agitated. Hayley wandered outside, and now the attendant is ringing someone to find out what he could do. In between all of this, I said to him, why not just put it through as being miscellaneous (and spat out the code that we use at Kmart) for like $3? Oh no, he wouldn’t have any of that. Now I was getting angry. He obviously woke someone up from their sleep, because it took him a couple of tries to talk to someone, and next thing I know, I’m being handed the phone and the manager is talking to me. About now, I just didn’t give two shits that I was being the annoying customer that I hate dealing with (I was doing it just spite them being absolute cunts to us.) Same deal with this manager, he said that they couldn’t do anything, even said that they “can’t do it” because it’s against company policy. I call bullshit on your behalf, fucker. Eventually, I countered with “well, if you aren’t able to sell the stock, why is the stock still up on the shelves?” and I got a slow response.
After a while, I ended up giving up on them, and we missed out on the cheese. Kind of retarded really. I’ve still yet to go in there and check whether or not the cheese scans or not. After that incident, we headed back to Craig’s place and Hayley and I resorted to having bread and tomato sauce.. thingys, which wound up tasting almost like a sausage sizzle, minus the sausage. I think we started to watch Cradle 2 The Grave at Craig’s place and by around 4, I had decided it was time for me to go home (only because I knew if I rocked up home when dad was awake again, he’s probably shoot me.) Heading back home was interesting in itself. On the way to dropping Hayley home, there’s a turn in between the lights near Shell Casuarina, and the lights near CSC. I slowed down, and started to take the turn, and I tried to straighten up and oh shit. My car. Is drifting. Doing 20km/h. Shit son. Because it had just rained, the road was all oily and wet, my car decided it was going to loose all traction in my back wheels and we slowly slid around the corner. After realising that I had lost traction, I had to speed up to get control again, and Hayley and I were kind of fish tailing into this corner. Meanwhile, I’m shitting myself because I’ve only had my car for so long, and I didn’t want to crash yet again.
Friday was kind of uneventful, I ended up heading to Cas with Craig for a bit, then Nick ended up meeting up with us while we were at the laundromat. We spent the rest of the afternoon sitting around, drinking some beers and nothing else really. Around 6, there were supposed to be some party going on down at the beach, and also Robert’s 21st was on that night too. We headed off to the beach for probably half an hour or so when I thought, nah, fuck this. Too boring. Around 7:30, Craig and I headed off to Robert’s and we’re met by most people, and they were already rather drunk. Tyson was wandering around with a cougar can and their own cocktail, Martin, Kirsty and Clinton were heading off to get Martin’s vodka. Walked into Robert’s and I kind of knew no one there. Well, I knew of them, but I didn’t know them. If that makes sense. I think Craig was the same, we kind of hung around inside for a bit, watching the football and chatting to Tyson and Kelly. Around 10:30, we went for a drive back down to Cas beach to see what was going on there, and holy shit. Before I left there earlier, there was only around 10 people sitting at the beach with a generator and music playing. By the time we got back there, there would have been at least a good 150-200 people there. Yeah, just infront of the walkway from the bottom carpark at cas beach. Holy crap. Apart from the fact that the oldest people there would have been Craig and myself, everyone else there would have only just hit puberty. Craig and I stood up on the rocks and watched them all make fools of themselves.
After a bit standing around, I saw Daniel and Matt standing around. Chatted to them for a bit, and after a while we were joined by Kirsty and Talyea on the rocks. We stayed up on the rocks for a bit, just waiting for a fight to break out (it was inevitable, I saw Nathan and his friends there, lol black people.) So intead of waiting for a fight to eventually break out, Craig started to throw leaves into the cogested area. Well, each throw he was doing, he’s completely miss everyone and everything there. Seriously, all you had to do was throw in the air, and bang, you’re bound to hit someone. I grabbed a couple of trees and broke them up into little pieces and started to throw them around. After probably 4 goes, I eventually hit some girl in the face and holy shit. Haha. Instantly she’s looking around wondering what the fuck had happened. Awesome! It felt good though. Kind of like hitting someone in the face with a hammer, just less damage done. We then returned to Robert’s where everyone was indeed, past drunk. Robert was enjoying hisself immensely (how could you not, it was his 21st) and he’s pissed as fuck, to put it bluntly. By then, Martin, Craig, Talyea, Kirsty, Clinton and Tyson were sitting at a table while they were pouring jagerbombs. We sat there for a bit longer, and ended up going back to the beach around midnight (or something like that, it was fairly late) and there are police around everywhere. Heh, it was eventual, seriously. While we were there the second time, Craig and I were contemplating rinigng up the cops and complaining about noise, and that there were under-age drinking going on at the beach. We didn’t though. So we were around there for around 45 minutes or so, and we were finally moved on by a couple of coppers. Again, back to Robert’s where it too, was slowly being broken up. By then, it was around 2 and the next idea was town. So Martin and I jumped in my car, and followed Craig to his place, picked him up, went back to Martin’s and Martin got ready.
Town was kind of boring, no one was really out. And I dressed up in my normal, going out to just house parties, so I kind of felt weird standing around there. I eventually got over it and we were there until 4. Got home and wasn’t really tired, ended up getting to work and feeling pretty good. I mean, I wasn’t tired (which I normally am) but I felt like absolute horseshit. Not the lack of sleep horseshit, or the lack of food, just.. weird stomach horseshit. I dunno, I didn’t give two shits what happened that day, and my whole day involved walking around the back helping with apparel and putting random shit on my head. Again, I took photos of these masterpieces, so don’t fret! I wasn’t too sure what I was going to be doing saturday night though, that was a mystery to me until around 11. I found myself sitting on the cliffs near Cullen Bay there, eating something to eat (which I couldn’t eat, my stomach just didn’t want to comply) and watching. After that, I was out at East point reserve (sitting in like a little car park area just before the gates) and reading for a solid 2 and a bit hours. It was so quiet there, it was just peaceful. Meanwhile, each car that drove by looked at me as if I was a retard and continued on their way. Around 11, I was getting dressed (kind of hidden by my car, but if you looked hard enough you would have seen me) and headed into Ducks and met up with Talyea and Kirsty. Apparently no one was heading out saturday night. No one. I suppose, they were all probably fucked from the night before, and that they had to work sunday. So who knows. Wound up seeing Martin there, so at least there were others to stand around with.
It was a usual saturday night, ended up going into Disco and spending most of the night there (well, it was the whole night.) Around 2 though, I had finally had enough of both the shitty music that they were playing, and my eyes were hurting like all fuck. So I wandered down to my car, jumped in, put on some acid trance and drove down to Dinah boat ramp and sat out there for a good 10 minutes, just dancing away. Yes. In my car. Anyway. Got back, and the music had kind of changed, but after going from something that is hard and fast, to slower music, it just wasn’t the same. Ah well, I got over it and sipped my drinks and watched. Wound up standing around watching people on the dancefloor with Jeremy and one of his friends until I found Martin again. By now, it was closing time, and we headed outside and waited for a fight. I was standing around talking to Jeremy and Kirsty, when suddenly I had lost everyone. Poof, they had gone. Found Martin again, but only to loose him minutes later. I had assumed everyone had got a lift somewhere, so I jumped in my car and drove around town seeing if I could see anyone. To no avail of course. I was just on my way home when I get a call from Kirsty saying she was standing out at the shell there. She jumps in, and we’ve gone through town again to see if we could find Martin. We find him standing in the middle of the street talking to some of his friends and we waited for him to get in. Well, after dropping Kirsty and one of her friends off at Fannie Bay, and I took Martin home, it was around 5. I get home and start to doze off, and it was only by chance that I heard my phone. It was probably half an hour or so after I had gotten home and Kirsty needed to find a way home from Fannie Bay.
After talking to an incredibly drunk Kirsty, I ended up passing out and being woken up around lunch time. I’m almost nearly done. Actually. I lie, this is one huge fuckin’ post. I’ve still got to get through sunday night. I digress. Sunday was slow as usual, mum and I watched Silent Hill on DVD. Around 7, I get a message from Kirsty saying that her and Jodie were down at S-dub and that I should come down to talk shit. So we’re sitting in Kirsty car chilling (it was around 8 now, kind of dark) and we see this light. Shit, someone in their car, turn off our light so they can’t see us. No, instead, it was some guy walking along with a torch. Ho-ly shit. I think we all shit our rings right then, but he kind of yelled out to us saying he was lost, he even had the accent going, so we offered to give him a lift (in my car, just me) to the boat ramp at buff. creek. I wasn’t too fussed about it, he seemed kind of shook up. Ah well. After saying at S-dub for a little longer, we headed off to Cas beach and met up with Callan, Sean (or Shaun, I dunno), JB and someone else. From there it was decided that we head off to the beachfront and play some pool there until it was Jodie’s birthday. We were there playing doubles (Kirsty and myself against Callan and Jodie) for a bit and I was playing my best games of pool ever. Seriously. I dunno why, but I wasn’t doing too bad. Apart from one or two games, we had won. After a while, Kirsty wandered over to where Talyea and Hayley were playing on the other table with a couple of guys who worked at the beachfront. Then it was Shaun (I’m going to spell it this was from now on, it looks better than the other spelling) and myself playing, and it was rather unfair. Around 11, Kirsty and I went for a drive around the “block” which ended up driving down Amy Johnson Road and thinking we had a flat tire (oh god
) but it was a false alarm. Then it was down to to Winnellie where her Dad works. We got back in time for Jodie’s birthday though, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.
After the beachfront, everyone (being Jodie, Kirsty and myself) wanted to continue doing something. So we took Callan home, went for a random drive around and ended up going down to the dirt end of the top of cas beach, where Hayley, Talyea, Mitch (remember that guy from the other night?) and 2 other randoms who I know one of them because I went to uni with him (so didn’t like that guy very much, he was kind of retarded to be honest.) Anyway. They wanted to head down to the beach, and they wandered down there, whereas we walked to the bridge, and over to the seats directly opposite the beachfront. Where we were only just before. Continued to talk shit, when it got a little boring. Around now, it was probably around 2 in the morning, and we needed a scenery change. So we wandered back over to the car, tried ringing Hayley to let them know we were driving around again, and headed off. At first, we drove around the uni where we saw the weirdest thing. Seriously, in the free car park at the back of the uni, there was a circle of rocks, and this plover sitting in the middle. What the crap. It was just so random, it was funny. And yes, I did get a picture of it. It’ll be up soon! After there, we headed off to the water garden’s and sat in the car for a bit and continued talking more shit. After a while, Hayley, Talyea and their randoms arrived to us lying on the bench chairs setup there. It was so comfy though, it was doing wonders for my back. Meanwhile, one of the randoms (actually, the one I didn’t know) kind of walked up to me and just stood over me. I kind of laid there and continued to look at the ceiling. I just didn’t want to talk to him, but it seemed like he was trying to pick a fight, I really just didn’t give a shit. Eventually he got bored and walked over to Jodie (who was lying on the other seat on the same table) and started to talk to her (creepily too, which she pointed out.) After a little bit longer, I kind of looked up from my crucified position to see the bald guy “passed out” (from what I could see anyway) on the table sitting next to Jodie. Well, only a minute or so later, Jodie gets up and scoots me down and tells me that he was sitting there, staring at her. Not slyly apparently, but just a dead stare. Right then, it was time to leave these weirdos alone.
We gave the excuse of checking out the lake and walked off. After walking over there, we had deduced that they were not to be spoken to ever again, and that we had to avoid any kind of contact with them forever. Well, we got to the pool, and Kirsty instantly stepped into the murky water. Even though it was only ankle deep, it still looked so grotty and probably felt like the bottom of lake.. that lake near East point. Anyway. It was dirty. After that, we kind of sat down on the weirdest chair and continued to talk more crap. This time, I was looking up into the sky and managed to see one shooting star. Damn, I was hoping for more. We ended up sitting there until we left, and when we left, we found that the bald guy had passed out on the chairs where he was sitting there staring at Jodie. I dunno about you, but if he randomly jumped into my car, he probably wouldn’t have made it to my door without some kind of fight, or if he did know someone there, I would have left his ass sleeping on the chairs. But the other random guy decided that he was going to wake him up. He did ask whether or not we could talk him home (“lol, get fucked buddy”) and here he was thinking I was kidding. I wasn’t even driving and I was the only one who said no. Ah well. Kirsty ended up driving me home around 4:30am, because both Kirsty and Jodie had to go to uni in a couple of hours. Poor them :-(
And now, it’s 3am on a tuesday morning (again!) and I think I’ve nearly killed my fingers. Damnit. In all, it was a pretty good weekend, even though it did start kind of slow, I still managed to have fun. Sunday night was probably the best though. We were celebrating Jodie’s birthday in style! But this weekend will be pretty good. It’s Jodie’s party at Disco. But right now, my fingers are starting to deny any kind of movement. But, this is probably one of the longest posts I’ve ever done. Yes, it’s around 4,100 words and nearly 11 pages long if I were to hand it in for an English assignment. Until next time!
