Oh god. I’m officially dead. Well, I’m starting to wake up a little more than what I was a couple of hours ago, but I still feel dead. My own fault I know, but by god I had some fun doing it though. Loads of it. After my previous post, I gathered myself up and headed off to Nick’s place and sat around there for a bit, or at least until people started to turn up. It was probably around 7:30, Nick, Daryl, Fat Jack were sitting out the back shooting shit when Brock comes running around the back. It was fairly obvious that he was on an incredible high, because he come screaming in, sat down, and dished out six pre-packaged shots which weren’t his. We kind of only found that out after we’d all ripped off the tops, so we had no choice, I swear! By 8, there were a whole bunch of people just sitting out the back waiting for the “party” to start. As if a switch was flicked, there were suddenly a fair amount of people in the driveway, and a significant amount of people out the back. Most of the people out the back were people that have been to parties at Nick’s place and know that this is where most people sit and chill for a bit.

It was actually a pretty good night, apart from a few random happenings, but all in all, it was a really good night. Unfortunately for two things though, I wasn’t drunk, and I didn’t have enough time to “mingle” properly. I mean, by around 10, Nick’s place was packed. There could have been easily 200 people there, possibly more, not counting those not allowed in the house because we had no idea who the hell they were. I mean, at one point, a whole bunch of cars drove past, with the obvious intent of attempting to walk in, parked on the opposite side of the road and kinf of sussed out what was going on. Meanwhile, I’m standing at the door watching these 21+ year olds try and work out whether it would be a good party or not. Well, if we can measure the party by the amount of times the police: turned up, the amount of police officers there, and the amount of times they drove past, it would probably be around 20/10.

Somehow, I managed to be at the gate denying access to anyone I didn’t know, most people kind of accepted the fact that the party was indeed huge and that no one else should really go in there. But there were others that, when spoken to the wrong way, just did not want to leave. They were mainly black people that thought they were cool. Either way, there was still a bulk amount of people there, and just not enough room to stand and have a normal chat. Well worth the no-sleep I managed to get the past couple of days. Normally, Nick’s parties have a habit of ending around 1-2 in the morning, with the majority of people leaving and us sitting around continuing to drink. Well, around 11 it was decided to be shut down, not only because there were apparently noise complaints, but also there was a stabbing down the road. Absolutely no one knows what happened, it’s all hearsay, but it’s still pretty dodgy. As much as I know (coming from one of the police officers there) there was an apparent bashing maybe 5 houses down and that the person that was attacked had come from Nick’s party, and that it was very likely that he not make it. The problem with all of that is, no one knows who the hell was attacked. Seriously, it was just some random person that had turned up at Nick’s place. Whether that’s a good thing or not, it’s still interesting. I mean, I was standing at the gate, when one police car.. two police car.. ambulance.. all drove past in the matter of seconds and pulled up down the road a bit. Drama!

By around midnight everyone had cleared out and the cleanup had begun, most of the cool people were still situated around the back and drinking, everyone else was either passed out somewhere random, or they were hiding. I seriously had no time to sit down, when I had to drive someone’s car home and come back to find that cas beach was “packed” will little people and that most people wanted to go there. So, Hayden, Brock, Cheryl, and some random child who wanted to go to the beach all jumped in my car and we were suppose to lead a whole pack of people from Nick’s party, but didn’t happen. Regardless, we got there and there were a whole buttload of people in the top carpark. Normally when there are after-get-togethers, there is normally enough room to drive through without killing anyone. This time though, you had to kind of make your presence known to the people standing on the road. Either way, there were lots and lots of people there. We all jumped out and wandered around trying to find someone that we knew, but realised it was kind of pointless because they were either black, or little kids. It wasn’t until there was some small little fight (it was pitchblack, how were you meant to fight a black guy?) that we decided it would be a smart thing to move on. So, minus Cheryl, off we went, and about 5 minutes later, Brock decided his brain was hurting too much for him to handle, so we quickly drove through mitchell street with the intent of throwing something at randoms. All of which never happened, but oh well!

Hayden and I eventually made it back to Nick’s place where everyone was going to sleep, ‘cept for Leanne and Craig (whom was scared of anything at this stage of the night.) Excluding all of the pikers who had no work the next day and didn’t come out, we went off to Ollies’ (I think that’s the right spelling) place just to sit down. Normally whenever we go there, it’s kind of boring and I leave 10 minutes after getting there. But I was chatting to Hayley about music and stuff when Leanne, Tyson and Clinton stands up and leaves. What! Time to go! Apparently JB was starting on Ollie, so we kind of skidaddled it to Clinton’s Mum’s unit over in Leanyer. That’s kind of where friday night turned into saturday morning and I was meant to be at work 3 hours later, so I went off home around 5:30 and tried my best to stay awake, although, it wasn’t that hard this time, it was pretty good. I suppose it could have been those red bull I had drunk earlier. But it was working wonders, because while at work I was singing like there was no tomorrow. It was quite enjoyable.

Saturday kind of flew past, and soon I was back at Nick’s trying to find out what we were doing that night. Well, Daryl and Nick were both being soft, so they weren’t up for anything. I knew Ryan and Daniel were going to be out, and I was quite sure others would be out in town that night. Oh, before at Nick’s though, I was at Ryan’s place chatting to him out the front, and his dogs were both just kind of wandering around our feet when I heard this dog further down the road. It was a.. big black one (I can’t remember the damn name of the dog now) and some guy walking down the street. Well, as if by chance, Tess (Ryan’s dog) saw this other dog and kind of stood to attention. The closer it got, the more I knew this wasn’t going to be good. In a matter of second, Tess was running full pelt to this other dog and attached herself onto this other dog’s face. A good 2 minutes later and both dogs are still going for it with Ryan pulling his dog’s legs and the other owner doing the same. It was kind of scary. Anyway. After all of the commotion there, I went off to visit Craig and pass the time away, or until someone was going into town.

Around 9 though, Leanne and Tanya were planning on going out, so I dropped past their house and went off into town. Incredibly boring for the first hour or so, or at least until I was standing around with people I knew. We went off to the Vic for a bit, to see what that was like. But the moment I got in there, not only did I loose everyone I was standing with, but I was really bored. I just wasn’t drunk enough to be in there. So I wandered back to Disco, stumbled upon Arron and his friends, partially abused for pictures I took which shouldn’t be shown to people (hehe.) We got into Disco, I saw Ryan and Jeremy and headed up top. While we were up there, I managed to see: Jodie, her friend Rachel, Will, Katerina (whom I hadn’t seen for eons.) So I had found a whole bunch of people I wouldn’t get bored with. Some how though, I managed to see Tyson and Clinton out, so I spent the rest of the night with those guys.

After town though, it was rather interesting. Seeing how I had my car, and Jodie was driving Rachel’s car, we all headed off to Clinton’s mum’s unit yet again, where we all daybreaked it there. What did happen though, was Cheryl, Tyson, and a couple of Tyson’s workmates also come around before sunrise, but they left earlier. By the time the sun ended up rising, we only had the troopers remaining; Clinton, Jodie, Tyson, Rachel and myself. Whether it was the fact that we were all bored, or just that the sun was up, but it was decided that we were going to head off to the Beer Can Regatta around 10 (this was at 10 mind you.) So off Rachel and Jodie go, to go and do something and get changed before they returned and we head off. Well, by then, I went home, had a shower, and mentioned to dad that I wasn’t going to be home again. I get back to Clinton’s and we sit around for another hour or so waiting. Well, while waiting there, I was slowly getting bored, which eventually lead me to kick my feet up, and lean my head back. Fuck. 10:30 rolls around, and I’ve been slipping in and out of sleep for around an hour when by then, we had all decided that neither of the girls were returning and that we didn’t even feel up for going anymore. So I return home around 11, get to sleep for maybe an hour or so before mum comes in and asks whether I want any lunch.

I then finally reach near the end of the day while I’m trying to write this post, I managed to only get a couple of sentances done every 15 minutes. I planned on getting it finished before bed though, so around 10:30 I’m listening to music writing yet again when oh look, Nick’s ringing!
Nick: “You doing anything?”
Me: “Nope, I’ll be around soon.”
Effectively. So off we drive, Ashleigh, Nick, Craig, Deliah (I think that’s right) and myself, around Darwin for a good 4 hours. On one of our numerous trips through town, we saw a soccer ball sitting on top of a bin, so we grabbed it with the intent of throwing it at some native sleeping on the ground. After kind of getting bored driving around, we head off to Cas beach, with our soccer ball in tow, and we go down to the dirt part of it where we kicked the soccer ball, listened to music for half an hour or so. Rather entertaining I must say. Later on, one another of our trips through town (I swear we went through that place a dozen times, at least) we were near old Audi showcase part, stopped at the lights. When shit, there’s 5 drunk guys walking their way along the sidewalk. Click. The lights go green, I slowly drive closer to them, rev the car like anything to get their attention and BANG, Craig’s thrown the ball square at these guy’s. I dunno our result or anything like that, but it was rather funny.

So after at least 60 odd hours without sleep, yet again, the weekend has come to a close. As if by fate, I didn’t have a good sleep earlier today either, it was constantly interupted with Mum telling me to get up, it’s lunch time, or whether I wanted to get up and get new shoes. As if, I’m sleeping woman! Oh, I still haven’t had any ideas for content things. I need them! I want them!
