It felt like we were back in highschool again friday, at least it did for me. I’m not too sure whether it felt like a good thing or not, but I’ll get to that in a minute. Friday night was going to be just sitting around at Nick’s house chatting to a few random people that may show up and an occasional drink. Instead what had happened was the complete opposite. Terry, Nick and myself went for a drive around 6 to get some alcoholic beverages, and I was planning on just buying a 6-pack of beer or something like that. Instead, we managed to score some Red Bull and V and our minds wandered into the possibility of having jagerbombs. So while at the bottle-o we bought a bottle of Jagermeister, Smirnoff Vodka and Southern Comfort. I kind of knew that it would be a bad night considering I had to get up at 7 saturday because of work. Needless to say that didn’t stop me, which is should have, but that’s another conscience post. Oh, and before we wandered into the bottle-o, Terry and Nick wanted some money, but instead of just getting money out at some random ATM, they both wanted to go to their specific ones in the middle of Casuarina. Let’s just say I had no shoes, and had only got back up a couple of hours before. So I wasn’t looking my best, but after a while I just didn’t give a shit.

Eventually while at Nick’s it was decided that I no longer was going to be driving home fairly early and that we were going down to Mindil beach in 5 minutes. After a while we all pilled into a few cars and wandered down there where we were greeted with a fair amount of people, not a lot, but still a fair few. The only problem with these people, were that we reckon they were all 14 year olds. Not only were the guys a possibly 14, but there were some hot 14 year old girls aswell. WHY LORD! I felt so old at that point in time, I mean, most of them would have only just started highschool or would have been in their second year. To think, a lot of my friends were drinking around that time too, but still! We were there for a while I suppose, I’ve got some pictures of random things including the graffiti that Craig did in the newly painted tiolets! It was an awesome spectacle I must say, and the fact that my name is on the wall spelt wrong makes it better.

Saturday was incredibly boring though, I mean work sucked as usual. Actually, I tell a lie, I had some kind of fun in the middle of the day though. A couple of weeks ago we had confronted these boys about stealing in the store and that even though we didn’t catch them with the stock, they still aren’t allowed back in. I was given specific instructions to if I ever see any of these kids that I’m allowed to just kick them out (or find Boyd to get them tresspassed). While I was out in cleaning goods processing some stock, I had left an empty box sitting on my flattop while I went to put something on show, only a couple of isles away. When I had come back some little black kid, possibly 12 or 13 with the box put over his head with another little kid punching the living shit of out it. Of course being the slightly intoxicated person I was, I pulled the box off over this kids head when I realised the kid punching him was one of the children never to be in the store. The instant he knew I recognised me he knew he was in for it.

Me: “You. You aren’t allowed in this store. Get out” (Stern face and sore throat giving me a croaky voice helped with this
Him: “What? Why for?”
Me: “Get out now. Follow me.”

So here I am almost ready to rip this chid’s head off while customers are staring at me barking orders at this little child (unbeknownst to them he’s a shithead). While we were walking to the front doors he kept pestering me about why I was doing this and I’m not allowed to do what I’m doing. Ah contrae monfrae! (Hurr my inability to speak some other language) So I said to him:

Me: “You know precisely why I’m doing this”
Him: “What? Because of those other bigger kids I was with last week?”
Me: “Uihh.. yeah. I’m doing you a favour here dude, I’m kicking you out instead of having to waste my time in getting you formally tresspassed from the center.”

By this time we were at the front door, and my last attempt at scaring everyone around me was: “Don’t ever come back into this store”. It was funny, because people see some poor helpless little child doing nothing and all of a sudden he’s being “assisted” out of the store. I found it humourous.

So last night was pretty awesome, I mean we went off to Hayley’s for a little gathering of people and I ended up in town with Litsa, Tiana, Tess and her friend whose name I think was Ash. I was kind of getting some stares by random blokes, but they’ll get over it! I think it was good near the end, I mean, I was driving, so I was taking Tiana and Litsa home. I had seen Ryan out and it ended up me taking Ryan, Litsa, Tiana, Joel, and Josh home. Now Joel I know because I went to high school with him and he was a year older than us all, but I didn’t think he really knew me. Well, he remembered me, which was pretty cool. I mean, it doesn’t sound like fantabulous news that someone from my high school in a year above me knew and remembered me, but it’s still pretty cool, because now I can go and have a chat with him without him trying to act like he knows me. At least I think that won’t happen. We’ll see.
