I just got home from another frustrating night at work, where I work with complete imbeciles, or at least the majority of the management team are retards. Seriously. The way that the store is run now is ridiculous. From my point of view (being a staff member), the way that different things are done and which things have more priority over others is retarded. I mean, little piddly stuff (most of the time it’s related back to the fact that the store manager’s wife has a whine about things) are seen as being priority as opposed to the larger things that would take less time to do, and it would make everything else look good. I mean, I see things moving when the bulk of the stock processed quickly, and then the smaller harder stuff to do after when there is a lot of space. But no! We have to do the stuff that Sandra wants or the stuff she got down to be done, and it’s always us that have to do it, not the day staff. Of course, we always have other things to do as opposed to our nightly jobs. It’s just getting really annoying.

There are a few dates I’ve got to think about now:

  • 25th march - Michael’s party cruise.
  • 1st april - “Big rave” at Brownsmart.
  • 12-16th april - Daryl and Kate’s birthday weekend/easter.

It’s fantastic isn’t it. I mean, in the next couple of weeks I have a whole butt load of things to do, not including uni. For one, last wednesday was Michael’s 18th birthday and this saturday is going to be his “party” I suppose. I’ll tell you right now I’m looking forward to it. It’s a party cruise which starts off at the Cavenaugh for dinner at 6. From then we go on a cruise (hence party cruise :hurrr:) around the harbour, and there’s going to be another party on the same boat (from which I’ve heard it’s all going to be ladies). From there, it’s going to be a bar crawl around town with free drinks at certain bars. So yeah, I’m going to be looking forward to that.

Anyway, saturday was alright I suppose, I mean, I had to work sunday (think of the money jarryd! THE MONEEEEEY!) so it wasn’t going to be a big night, but Nick, Terry and I went regardless. Before we went out though, us plus Daryl (could that sound anymore racist) went to get some fish and chips for dinner and had fun sitting around Hibiscus eating food whilst laughing loudly. After dinner we went out (minus Daryl) and started off at Duck’s Nuts and sat around there for a while. Had a look in discovery and walked out almost straight after we got our stamp (hey, before 10 it’s free entry, so we make the best of it :P) and headed over to the Vic. Sat around there for a while watching people humiliate themselves in sexual positions in a quest for some prizes. One couple stood out though. I mean, it was more the lady that stood out. She was wearing nothing but a denim dress (more like short-dress). So we all laughed when she sat back down on the table we were at and ask whether or not “we saw her fanny”.

We chatted to them for a while, when all of a sudden they left (they had knocked each other’s drink of out their hands and spilt alcohol all over themselves) and the guy left his smokes and lighter on the table. Being the courteous bastards that we are, we decided to keep hold of them until we saw them next (only so we could be friends with them because they both seemed cool ). Unfortunately we did not see them, so I had them in my pocket for the rest of the night. Well, of course I had to take advantage of this and tell everyone I knew that I saw that would know that I repulsed by most smokers (to an extent and depends on the person). So I shocked Tim and James when I asked them whether they wanted a smoke. Of course I had my fun and wandered off when they were confused about me having smokes. When I said it to James, he was in the process of trying to get his 15 year old girlfriend in for free because he knows someone who knows the bouncer (not cool ).

What else.. Oh, that’s right. I did deduce a few things that night though.

  1. There are (what looks to be) a lot of gay people dancing near me
  2. A whole buttload (:hurrr:, pun!) of fat ladies

Now, I only noticed this tonight, and whether it was just the night for such things, or I only notice it when I’m not drunk. Now I have no problems with either, but when suddenly I have mr dance next to me closely and miss I’ll jam my 4 rolls of arm into my ass, I start to get a little uncomfortable. Maybe I just don’t notice while I’m drunk, but I think that’s a problem. Anyway. I scored a free cd that night too! They were handing out (well, it was more like throwing them over the dance floor) promo cds of a set from the local DJ, so yeah!

Before I go, I’m a little worried about Herrod though, I mean, from when I was talking to her yesterday, she sounded like she was really stressed out :s. Ps: I don’t really care if she was my teacher, I consider her as a close friend. So yes. Maybe she just misses us :P. Anyway, it’s late and I have a class early tomorrow!
